session takes you through how to make
headers, footers, and use images. It also
shows you labour-saving devices such as
automatic footnotes, headings, tables of
contents, and caption numbering.

WRITING A THESIS: STRUCTURES WORKSHOP
This workshop covers structures of work and
structures of theses, and includes material
from the book: Murray, Rowena (2002) How to
Write a Thesis. Buckingham: OU. You will
given a writing exercise to do a week before
this session.

MAKING AN ARGUMENT - WRITTEN AND VISUAL
